The event will take place in Winterthur in the Eulachhalls on 3-4 November 2022. There will be no virtual livestream.

All ticket classes except for the visitor and the students include access to the matchmaking platform where you can schedule meetings with other participants.

Therefore we suggest startups to buy startup tickets for the founding team and visitor tickets for the startup employees as those are cheaper.

Same for corporates and academia: Those who want to schedule meetings with startups to discuss potential partnerships are advised to buy a corporate / academia ticket. All other employees who are just keen on meeting the startup scene can go with a normal visitor ticket as you won’t need the matchmaking plattform for that.

The Matchmaking tool enables Startup-Founders, Investors, Corporates, SME, Universities, Supporters, Partners & Enablers to discover the most fascinating fellow participants and schedule meetings with them.

Yes. Meetings can be planned ahead of the event via our matchmaking tool. Preparing meetings in advance will enhance your experience at the Startup Nights as it makes sure everything goes smoothly. Having spontaneous meetings during the Summit of course will also be possible.

Arriving at the Startup Nights location

We strongly suggest coming by public transport. Once you arrive at the main train station of Winterthur, exit the station on the side of “Wartstrasse” (after gate 9) and follow our signs that will lead you to the Eulachhallen. It takes 7 minutes on foot.

The closest bus station is “Blumenau”. Use bus 2 or 2E. The main train station of Winterthur is also close enough to the location to walk to the Eulachhallen: 850 metres, 8 minutes maximum.

Zurich airport is only 15 minutes away from Winterthur by train.

At the location itself there are very limited parking lots. We recommend to park at one of the following spots:

  • Bahnhof Parking
  • Parkhaus Kesselhaus
  • Parkhaus Lokwerk
  • KSW Parkhaus (Kantonsspital Winterthur)
  • Parkhaus Stadtgarten
  • Parkhaus Archhöfe

We have pre-reserved rooms in all hotels and accommodations in Winterthur so that your convenience is guaranteed. From hostel to 4-star accommodation – there is something for everyone. Contact us in advance and let us know your preference.

No, unfortunately, this will not be possible after you gave the ticket a name holder. You will be able to buy tickets for other people, though.

Yes, you will be able to buy tickets for your team. Make sure that you register the tickets in the name of your team members/colleagues, since there will be no way to change that afterwards.

No, Startup Nights tickets are not refundable.


Every startup employee and of course every startup founder is eligible to buy a startup ticket.

To apply for the startup pitching competition you must buy minimum one startup ticket, because only then you will get access to the pitching application.

To apply to have a booth in our startup world you must simply fill out the application form that will be provided on the website.

The investor ticket is directed towards decision-makers in startups investments or venture capital funds.

At the Startup Nights, startups from different sector present themselves. On set, they are bundled in different thematic worlds such as health, food, finance etc. You will mostly find pre-Seed, Seed and Series-A startups, but also already well-established companies that already passed those stages.
